A host of children’s events taking place at Waterstones in Cambridge

Waterstones in Sidney Street, Cambridge will entertain children over the Easter holidays with story times and activities, as well as hosting themed nights and featuring author signings.

Today (Wednesday) it will host a special performance of the classic tale The little Prince, performed by Matthew Dexter, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Tickets are available online and in-store.

Tomorrow (Thursday) there will be a Story time for toddlers and toddlers: beautifully springtime – this time with a theme of all things spring. A free event, Story Time will begin at 11:15 a.m. and last 15-20 minutes.

Then there will be a party this Friday (April 8) with activities, games, prizes and – of course – a themed story hour. fun on the farm. The morning session is from 11 a.m. to noon, while the afternoon session runs from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is £2 per child.

Then, on Sunday April 10, Waterstones will host another Story time for toddlers and toddlers, meet under the magic book tree in the youth section for a story hour around the trees. Story time will start at 2 p.m. and will last 30 minutes. This event is free.

Next Wednesday (April 13), come meet children’s author Ann-Marie Howell, who will be signing copies of her new novel The Secret of the Treasure Keepers – a moving story of courage, friendship and buried treasure in the Cambridgeshire Fens. On Thursday April 14, Waterstones will host another Story time for toddlers and toddlers: book crazy! meet under the magic book tree in the youth department for a story hour around the trees. This free event will start at 2 p.m. and will last 30 minutes.
