The Bruins continue to face a COVID-19 outbreak within the team. Seven players and two team staff have been added to the NHL’s COVID protocol. The Bruins lost Thursday night to the Islanders 3-1. Tickets for the December 23 game will remain valid for the postponed date, which has yet to be determined, the team said. The Boston Celtics are also dealing with players and COVID protocols. Al Horford, Grant Williams, Jabari Parker, Sam Hauser and Juancho Hernangomez are absent due to health and safety protocols. The team also canceled media availability for Friday. The Celtics are set to face Golden State on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
