‘Cheer Live’ arrives at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville for June show

“Cheer Live,” a stage show featuring performers from the Netflix documentary series “Cheer,” is set to make a stop in Jacksonville in June.

The show, on a national tour of 38 cities, will take place at Daily’s Place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 17. Tickets cost between $29.95 and $139.95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on February 1.

It features cheer teams from Navarro College and Trinity Valley Community College in Texas. Monica Aldama from the Netflix series will also be featured in the program. The show’s Gabi Butler, Morgan Simianer, Maddy Brum, Angel Rice, Dee Joseph, James Thomas, Jeron Hazelwood, Gillian Rupert and Cassadee Dunlap are also set to appear.

In other concert news:

• Christian singer Matthew West will be at Westside Church on Herlong Road at 7pm on Sunday 3 April. Tickets cost between $25 and $100.

• Rex Orange County has booked a show for 7 pm Thursday, May 5 at the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Tickets cost between $39 and $64 and go on sale Friday, February 4.

• Ja Rule has been added to the line-up for Erykah Badu & Friends scheduled for Friday May 6th at Daily’s Place. Goodie Mob and Rickey Smiley are also scheduled. Tickets cost between $69 and $260.

• Maze starring Frankie Beverly will be at the Times-Union Center at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 2. Tickets cost between $63.50 and $125.
