IT Manager – IT-Online

IT manager with relevant IT qualification and at least 10 years of experience at a highly technical level required for this furniture retail business, based in Montague Gardens.

Minimum requirements:

  • Higher diploma essential – IT / IT / Operational research / Business management / Financial management / Engineering essential
  • Advantageous graduate degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience at a highly technical level required
  • Experience in the credit and / or furniture retail and / or logistics industries an asset
  • Experience in quality assurance or software testing preferred
  • In-depth project management skills and experience required
  • Proficiency in Python / HTML / CSS / Javascript required
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize technical capacities according to business needs
  • Lead the technology team in day-to-day operations
  • Monitor the management of all hardware, software, databases, licenses and maintenance
  • Manage the data team
  • Management of stakeholders and suppliers
  • Project management
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • HR functions and personnel management
