Saudi Arabia to announce Hajj approved pilgrims on Friday

RIYAD: The Saudi Tourism Authority launched its Saudi Arabia Summer 2021 program, through its Saudi Arabia Spirit portal, under the slogan “Our Summer, Your Mood”.

The program begins Thursday, June 24 and lasts until the end of September in 11 tourist destinations rich in natural diversity, according to a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The program includes 500 tourism experiences in cooperation with more than 250 partners from the private sector.

Water events and activities will take place on the beaches of Jeddah, Yunbo, Amlaj and King Abdullah Economic City.

Activities will also take place in a cool climate on the heights of Al Taef, Al Baha and Aseer, in addition to the historic and ancient sites of Tabuk, AlUla and Al-Ahsa in the heart of the Kingdom of Riyadh.

“The launch of the Saudi summer program for this year confirms the determination of the Kingdom’s tourism sector to move forward in achieving its ambitious goals which are in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030,” said Minister of Tourism and chairman of the board. of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Ahmed Al-Khatib, said.

“This aims to solidify Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the most important tourist destinations in the region and the world, despite the challenges facing the global tourism sector as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. “

He added that the season will provide both investment opportunities and jobs for local communities, which will contribute to Saudi Arabia’s economic and social development.
