What The second rotation of Singaporean photographer Russel Wong’s exhibition at the Asian Civilizations Museum, Life in Edo, starts from July 26. The exhibition features an extensive collection of 157 colorful ukiyo-e prints that showcase the lifestyles of Japanese people of the Edo period, including works by great masters such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Utagawa Kuniyoshi and more Again.
In addition, the famous Singaporean photographer also presents his current personal project to document the geishas of Kyoto and the lesser-known traditions of this private community.
