Yorkshire Masons to open at Leeming Bar Distillery for tours

A GIN distillery in the area opens as a welcome center – and you can make your own alcoholic drink.

Masons of Yorkshire, which is based in Leeming Bar, near Northallerton, has revealed when it will reopen with workshops for the public.

He said guided gin tasting sessions will take place in Masons’ Gin Lab, as gin fans have learned the tips and techniques needed to create the perfect drink.

Meanwhile, the unique ‘Cocktail Experience’, led by in-house mixologists from Masons of Yorkshire, will showcase how classics are made.

This will then be followed by a workshop on how to make them, while fans will have the option of standing behind the bar to add their individual touch.

Karl Mason, who co-founded the distillery with his wife Cathy, said: “We look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to our home and placing Yorkshire firmly on the gastronomic map of Britain.

“Yorkshire is known nationally for its exceptional plethora of major food and drink producers, and we want to be part of that development.

“In a county teeming with visitor experiences, it is obvious that Yorkshire’s premier distillery should be on this ‘must visit’ list.”

Reservations are now open with the first session on July 2, 2021. Distillery Experience tickets cost £ 20.00 per person. Cocktail Experience tickets cost £ 40.00 per person.
